SharePoint/.Net Architect

 Role: SharePoint/.Net Architect

 Location: Windsor, CT

 Type: C2H - MUST BE A US CITIZEN  (ITAR rule 126.1 applies as no candidate shall be from one of   the proscribed countries)

 Duration: 2 years+

 Interview Process: Skype, Telephonic & F2F Mandatory

 Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of geographically distributed developers and will work with the client to manage a large work stream. 
• Oversee the design, development and testing of new applications, as well as interfaces.
• Establish best practices and governance related to development and delivery on the program.
• Work with project manager and client partners to report on timelines and effort for new and continuous work
• Deliver training, supervision and mentoring to the software development team
• Document new and existing application components.
• Work with business in requirement collaboration.

 Required Skills:

• 5+ years of SharePoint Development and Administration
• 7+ years of .NET development
• 5+ years of working with SQL Server
• Demonstrated leadership skills on large projects with successful delivery
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of design patterns
• Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Able to work with a team effectively
• Able to fully document at each phase of the SDLC
• Knowledge of build and release management

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure practices related to SharePoint
• 6+ years working with SharePoint
