Position Description: The individual should be able to analyze, identify, breakdown, refine and capture the existing requirements, high-level features, and user experiences to better deliver host based security. The individual should have experience in developing IT architecture, designs, and deploying solutions for:

• Server hardware and associated operating systems with a focus on Intel technology, Microsoft Windows Server/Active Directory, Linux
• Virtualization technology on Intel platforms, especially VMware vSphere, Citrix XenApp; Virtual Desktop Technology (VDI) including VMware and Citrix technologies
• Client workstations, laptops, tablets, SmartPhones; Intel and Apple technology; Windows XP/7 and MacOS, iOS, Android and Blackberry
• Networking solutions including routers, switches, load balancers, wireless with focus on Cisco and VMWare vSwitches; DNS and DHCP with focus on Infoblox and Citrix NetScaler;
• Security devices including firewalls and intrusion detection (IDS/IPS) with focus on Cisco and Juniper
• Security applications including anti-virus, syslog, security analysis, data loss protection tools and knowledge of Trusted Internet Computing (TIC) standards/implementation (focus on McAfee)
• Storage subsystems including SAN, NAS devices, storage switchtes, fiber data fabric networks, iSCSI, along with storage management/monitoring tools, backup technologies (focus on NetApp technologies)
• Capacity and performance analysis, data collection and reporting for network, server and storage
• Enterprise System Monitoring solutions (monitoring and event management) for network, server, storage and security devices (firewalls) (focus on Tivoli Monitoring, Solarwinds, OPNET)
• Enterprise database solutions (Oracle and Microsoft SQL)
• Working on Solutions in Task Order Mods with Client Engineering team and Engineering team

Job Duties

• Analyze, Debug McAfee Solutions 
• Deploy McAfee upgrades 
• Communications with Client and executives 
• ITSM Change Management using ServiceNow, JIRA

Required Skills

• McAfee ePO subject-matter expert (SME)
• Infrastructure O&M - experienced with Data Center Operations, Network Admin, Server Operations, Mobile Device Management
• Excellent oral and written client facing communications
• ITSM Solutions including ServiceNow and JIRA

Preferred Skills

• Virtualized Cloud Managed Service
• Windows AD scripting
• Federal Managed Services
• ITIL V3 Foundation Certified
• Cloud computing and cloud spaced services including IaaS and SaaS
• Experience with McAfee Drive Encryption for Windows and Mac extremely desired
• Experience with McAfee Application Control extremely desired
• Experience with McAfee McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention for Desktop (HIPS) extremely desired
• Experience with McAfee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Device Control (DC), McAfee Policy Auditor for Windows and Linux (PAW & PAL), McAfee Application Inventory Agent (Risk Advisor), McAfee VirusScan Enterprise for Windows and Linux (VSEW & VSEL), Experience with McAfee Management for Optimized Virtual Environments (MOVE), McAfee Endpoint Protection for Macs (EPM) preferred
