Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site senior system engineering expertise to DLA leads in defining and maintaining the Oracle EBS technical infrastructure and architecture
• Conduct hardware sizing and capacity planning to ensure DAI scales to projected user and data growth in 2-3 years
• Periodically perform system architecture review, and make recommendations on best practices regarding platform (hardware, OS, software and network).  Ex. Linux vs. Solaris
• Provide recommendations on system performance improvement, scalability, security, disaster recovery (COOP), and operational readiness
• Perform Oracle EBS Apps DBA duties as assigned including code migrations, patching, cloning, and installation of Oracle COTS software
• Resolve system-related technical issues, and coordinate on open Oracle Service Requests (SRs) as needed
• Review Infrastructure related technical architecture documentation and provide inputs

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5-8 years (recent) of technical system architecture, design, sizing and database administration (DBA) in Oracle EBS environments 11i and R12.2.3 
• Current DoD Secret clearance or IT-II (ADP-II) level 
• Expert understanding and working knowledge of architecture and life-cycle of Oracle technologies including 10g, and 11g database, RAC, ASM, EBS (Weblogic, Apache), SOA, OBIEE, SSO/OAM (OID), OEM, Data Guard, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of server hardware and OS technologies including Linux, and Solaris
• Strong understanding of systems engineering processes and procedures
• Excellent presentation, verbal writing communication and inter-personal skills
• Ability to develop presentations for senior / executive level audience
• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint Presentation, and Visio
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field  

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of Federal / DoD ERP implementation and O&M support (strongly preferred)
• Working knowledge of government / DoD data centers hosting ERP applications (strongly preferred)
• Prior COOP design, annual review / testing highly desired
• Experience supporting system audits, and compliance needs in Federal and DoD environment
• Oracle Certified Processional (OCP) strongly preferred
