Description:
The IRS CADE 2 Tools Support team supports the Rational Tools Initiative (RTI) with program management, adoption planning/management, integration support, technical subject matter expertise, and training for IBM’s Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools. The RTI is currently focused on achieving the following three primary goals:
• Develop plans and processes to define and implement standardized usage of Rational CLM
• Operationalize a Rational CLM Gateway to standardize and streamline enterprise adoption of CLM tools at the IRS
• Lead development of a Training Assessment and Training Plan to lay the groundwork for account-wide Rational CLM Training
Key responsibilities include the following:
• Act in a client-facing role to facilitate stakeholder meetings, gain alignment, provide technical recommendations, and document stakeholder requirements
• Lead development and reviews of standard and ad hoc client work products in MS Word and PowerPoint
• Provide support and leadership in developing key deliverables, including the Rational CLM Training Plan.
Skill Set:
Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal skills to support frequent team and client collaboration and brainstorming
• Experience engaging with client stakeholders in design and strategy discussions
• Experience assessing design alternatives and understanding how they align with client needs
• Experience developing or implementing an organizational change management and/or training plan
• Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
Desired Skills:
• Experience defining and categorizing roles and responsibilities, task ownership, and timelines
• Experience with the IBM Rational CLM Tool suite (Rational DOORS/Requirements Composer, Rational Team Concert, Rational Quality Manager) or similar Lifecycle Management tools would be helpful but not required
