Senior EHR Functional Analyst




Position: Senior EHR Functional Analyst

Location: Pacific North West (Seattle, WA) - Oak Harbor, Madigan, Bremerton, Fairchild, and Everett in Washington State. This position requires 75% travel between hospital sites.

Duration: 3 months minimum with possible extension
 
Visa : US Citizen  
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 9 years related experience.

Task: Hospital Site Activation - Preparation of a site to perform it’s assigned or intended function. It may include construction of facilities, installation of equipment, software, hardware, personnel, etc.
Scope: Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. May be solely responsible for all phases of a consulting engagement from client identification through final invoicing. Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).

Job Description:

Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements. Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identify resources required for each task. Provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.
Understands the clients business practices, market position and deployment of technology into Healthcare environments. Facilitates Business Process Change and will provide Change Management Consulting to ensure that organizational aspects (i.e. organizational culture, fit, etc.) are addressed as new enabling technologies are implemented. Performs technical and business related research to support client needs, assist in the installation/implementation, development and analysis of materials/processes/systems. Works with team in the analysis, formulation, development and delivery of engagement material and results. Plans, develops, and maintains engagement project and program plans. Develops statements of work, technical approaches, and cost estimates to perform future work. Individuals in this job family will have regular interaction with clients. Consultants may also work on projects at customer sites alone or with a team. Problem Complexity: Works on complex problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined procedures and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
