Job Description:

We are seeking an on-site Senior Systems Administrator who will work with a high performance team supporting the latest software, hardware platforms and networks in the industry. We are looking for a systems administrator with experience working with a technical team and who is familiar with supporting the following: Linux, Oracle WebLogic Administration, Windows, DoD STIG and network protocols. Responsibilities Perform administration of systems, but duties also include participation in and support of each function in supporting an entire network and its computers and servers. Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time wisely in efforts to complete projects/deployments as assigned. Function independently at times and work as part of a group at times. Provide Linux and/or Windows domain support. The overall Project architecture utilizes extensive COTS/GOTS software/hardware. Perform routine backups and restorations as necessary. Troubleshoot software and hardware problems. Create scripts for automation and management of workstations and servers. Coordinate and work with other team members. Hardware consists of, but not limited to the following: SAN/NAS, server clusters, Windows and Linux raid, Client & Dell Client based platforms, and GIG-E networking technology accelerated video cards and display Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 4 years' experience developing infrastructure and deploying scalable applications or mobile software. DoD 8570 Certification, Security + minimum Experience in DoD environments Experience with VMWare, VSphere 5 or higher Experience with RedHat Linux and/or Windows administration Experience with WebLogic and Oracle databases Experience leading IT efforts within the DoD communities Knowledge of networking with NIS, DNS, DHCP, and NFS protocols Knowledge of NetApp and Client storage provisioning Knowledge of Cisco IOS and networking principles Knowledge of Active Directory and use of Group Policy Knowledge with ACAS, HBSS and other DoD approved security and monitoring tools Knowledge of Microsoft management tools: SCM, SCCM, WSUS Developed end user training guides and support documentation for other IT staff Make hardware/software recommendations suitable for customer requirements
